The solo/small firm section of the Montgomery County Bar Association has a mission of providing its members with an opportunity to become part of a community of lawyers who share common goals and ideas unique to the solo/small firm practitioner. Our purpose is to promote the efficient practice of law by meeting regularly, forming and maintaining bonds and friendships, educating ourselves and sharing ideas through the network of the many solo and small firm attorneys. The goal of the section is to provide educational and practice resources; to provide a forum for sharing ideas about practice management; to provide mentors for newly admitted lawyers and to promote collegiality between our members and the bar generally. It is desired to offer a referral network, to have a regularly used list serve and to provide general support to the solo and small firm attorneys.
