The APALRC’s legal hotline is staffed by law student volunteers who speak Cantonese, Hindi, Korean, Mandarin, Urdu, Vietnamese, and other Asian languages. When you call the hotline, someone who speaks your language will ask you questions about your legal issue. Depending on your legal problem and your income, you may be eligible for free or reduced-fee legal services from the APALRC or one of the partner organizations. In addition to handling family law, consumer/credit, employment, housing, tax, and more, they also provide immigration relief options for survivors of domestic abuse.

Subjects Handled: Consumer Assistance, Custody/Child Support, Discrimination, Domestic Violence, Employment, Family Law, Hotline, Housing, Immigration, Landlord-Tenant, Public Benefits, Wills and Probate, Tax (See Index for Additional Organizations)
