Hours:              Special Education Department for questions or request related to special education services for children is open Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 12:00pm;
                          General Intake Department for questions or requests related to all other legal issues are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

MDLC is a private, non-profit organization staffed with attorneys and paralegals who aim to ensure that individuals with disabilities are afforded full rights. Primarily, the staff advocates for the rights of people with disabilities. The organization offers the following services: information for people with disabilities, and referrals when necessary, technical assistance to attorneys handling cases involving disabilities, case advocacy, legal representation, and public education and training. The primary issues that the organization handles are education, mental health, voting rights, and advocacy on behalf of individuals who receive social security disability benefits. These services are free of charge.
